Luck is when preparation meets opportunity

Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for the moment that is to come." — Oprah Winfrey, a famous TV Reality host.

It is interesting to see LUCK in a new light as defined by Oprah Winfrey. She remarked that if a person is not prepared, LUCK would not have come his or her way. In Heads Up International, besides preparing our students to have a strong foundation, we also see to it that our students develop some essential life skills, such as coding, and public speaking. A Financial Literacy course is also embedded into our curriculum to train children to be financially savvy. Sports and games are organised to develop future healthy and productive young leaders. We also work in collaboration with NGOs and the Lions Club International to let our students take part in community service, which we hope will mould hearts of gold and compassion for the less privileged and needy, be it locally or abroad. Some students even seize the chance to participate in the Youth Exchange programme abroad, which benefits them in the aspect of independent living and cultural exposure. These exciting opportunities and programmes beyond just academics have allowed our students to stand above their peers with pride. They are ever ready to seize opportunities that come their way. This explains why every child at Heads Up International is a success story. Not mere luck!
