Instead of staying in on a Saturday, a dozen of us from Heads Up decided to volunteer in UV’s fundraising fair. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, and the community, but the benefit is even greater for us, the volunteers. It connects us to others, develops sense of pride and identity apart from bringing fun and fulfilment.
